Dr. Berthaud is an HIV clinician who played a key role in establishing the MMC Center for AIDS Health Disparities Research (CAHDR). In 2005 he created and is still Executive Director of the MCWC. He serves on the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the Tennessee AIDS Center of Excellence Committee. He is board certified in internal medicine, infectious diseases, public health, and tropical medicine and travelers’ health. He is a strong partner in growing clinical research opportunities for MMC investigators.
