Port-au-Prince Haitian Cuisine
Business Details
The food taste like never before.
Welcome to Port-au-Prince (aka “PAP”) Authentic Haitian Cuisine!
Hungry for Haitian food? Enraptured by Haitian art? Now you can savor the delights of Haiti’s culinary and artisan offerings right here in the DMV (DC,MD,VA) metropolitan area.
Just a bit of history, in 2016 we opened as Don Berto’s Kitchen (“DBK”), coined after our very own Chef Roberto Massillon (aka Chef Don Berto), as a weekly Sunday pop up restaurant in Silver Spring, MD. After a successful year, where DBK not only won local awards, was recognized by critics, and most importantly, developed a faithful and ever growing following, Chef Don Berto teamed up with his brother Makendy Massillon, to present the DMV with “Port-au-Prince,” a full time Haitian restaurant right on the Maryland/DC border.
There is more to PAP though, enter our doors, and not only will you sup with us, but you will all at once be surrounded with some of Haiti’s most exquisite and original artwork. Indeed, it is our desire to not only introduce you to Haiti’s culture through her food, but also through her art. We will have a quarterly rotation of original art work by local and visiting Haitian artists, on display, along with a monthly showcase of musicians from Haiti and beyond. Enter our doors, come on a journey with us, fall in love with Haiti. See you in Port-au-Prince!
